Privacy Policy
Last updated November 1, 2026
Uplifted Concepts is a Houston floral design studio owned by Jill Terrell. This policy explains what personal information we collect through upliftedconcepts.com, our proposal and order pages, and the tools we use to run the business, and what we do with it. In short: we collect only what we need to design, deliver and bill for your flowers, we never sell it, and we don't run advertising or tracking on this site.
Information we collect
- Contact details — your name, email, phone number, and, for deliveries, the delivery address and recipient's name.
- Order and event details — what you ordered, delivery date and window, card or gift messages, and for weddings and events the date, venue, guest count, design preferences and any notes you share.
- Payment information — card payments are handled entirely by Stripe, so we never see or store your full card number. For Zelle and check payments we see the payer name, amount and date in our bank records so we can match the payment to your order.
- Messages — what you send through our inquiry forms, by email, or by phone, and notes from consultations with Jill.
- Basic technical data — like most websites, our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser, pages requested) for security and troubleshooting.
How we use it
- To prepare and deliver your order, create proposals and invoices, and take payment.
- To contact you about your order or event, including confirmations, payment reminders and delivery notices.
- To invite you to leave a review after we deliver, usually by a single email.
- To keep business, tax and accounting records, and to prevent fraud and abuse of our forms.
We do not sell your personal information, rent it, or use it for third-party advertising.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of service providers who handle information only to do their job for us:
- Stripe — secure card payments.
- Resend — sending our emails to you.
- Vercel and Neon — hosting the website and storing our order records.
- Mapbox — address suggestions and delivery-zone maps; the address you type is sent to Mapbox to look it up.
- Google — the reviews shown on our home page and the link that lets you leave a review. See also the Google section below.
We may also disclose information when the law requires it, or to protect our rights, our customers or the site from fraud or abuse.
Photos of our work, and Google user data
Jill photographs her work and keeps those photos in a Google Photos account. To build a private library of past events, the studio's administrators can connect that account to our admin tools. This uses Google's Photos Picker, which only gives us the specific photos and albums an administrator chooses in Google's own picker. We cannot browse or read anything else in the account.
- What we access: only the photos an administrator selects (the image, its filename, and the date it was taken), plus the connected account's email address to show which account is connected.
- How we use it: to add those photos to a private design library, tag them (for example by flower type, color or event type) and link them to the matching orders and events so we can reference past work when planning new events. Photos are not made public unless Jill chooses to publish them on this site.
- Automated tagging: to describe each photo, an image copy may be processed by Anthropic's Claude AI. It is used only to produce the tags, and we do not use it for any other purpose.
- Sharing and limits: we do not sell Google user data, share it with advertisers, or use it for advertising. Our use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
- Your control: the connection can be removed at any time from our admin page or at myaccount.google.com/permissions, and imported photos can be deleted on request.
Customers who simply browse or order on this site are never asked to sign in with Google.
Cookies and similar technologies
We use only what the site needs to work: a sign-in cookie that keeps you signed in to your order or proposal page, and small browser-storage items such as whether you dismissed a banner. We do not use advertising cookies or analytics trackers.
How long we keep it
We keep order, event and payment records for as long as we need them to serve you and to meet tax and accounting requirements. Inquiries that never become orders are kept for a limited time and then deleted or archived. You can ask us to delete your information at any time (see below), subject to records we are legally required to keep.
How we protect it
Our site uses HTTPS, our records are stored with reputable cloud providers, and access to our admin tools is restricted to the studio team. No online service can promise perfect security, but we take reasonable steps to protect what you share with us.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or ask us to stop emailing you. Email jill@upliftedconcepts.com or call 713-376-3212. Texas and other state privacy laws may give you additional rights, and we will honor valid requests.
Children
This site is meant for adults ordering flowers and planning events. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
